YES - you can discuss this with your provider during your consultation, the additional meds will NOT be included in the kit price and will need to be paid for at the pharmacy.

YES - hydroxyzine can be included as needed. We do NOT prescribe controlled substances like Ativan or Xanax.

NO - Tylenol and/or Ibuprofen can be included in your kit but no prescription pain medications will be prescribed.

In order to prescribe any medication, your provider must be aware of your medical history, medications you are taking, any allergies you may have and also consider where you are traveling to. This will all be reviewed during your consultation so that your medication kit can be individualized according to your needs. ALSO, if your kit is for a child, medications are dosed according to their weight - please have an accurate and current weight to provide during your consultation.

YES - each family member will need an appointment with the provider to review their medical history, current medications and allergies. Each kit will be prescribed and paid for INDIVIDUALLY and is intended for that individual ONLY. KITS ARE NOT TO BE SHARED!

NO - since kits include prescription medications, they cannot be returned.

If it is determined that a kit is not appropriate or you change your mind, you will only be charged for the consultation fee ($120) and not the bundled kit price.

NO - these are not billed through insurance.

YES - end stage kidney disease, end stage liver disease, being on dialysis, pregnancy or breastfeeding, certain heart conditions and medication allergies. This is not an all inclusive list, and these will be discussed with your provider during your consultation. There are information cards included in the kit that provide information about each individual medication and how to take it. You will also be provided access to the Spruce app which is a HIPAA compliant messaging system you can use to communicate with your provider at any time. Our provider is NOT on call 24/7 and generally responds to messages during office hours. If you feel you are having an emergency please call 911 or go to your local UC/ER.

Allergies, allergic skin reactions, bite wounds, skin rashes and infections, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, motion sickness, ear infections, eye infections, respiratory tract infections, strep throat, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, yeast infections, etc. This is not an all inclusive list.
